About Makenzie Grilliot

Makenzie is from Dayton, Ohio and grew familiar with orthopedics as a competitive gymnast for many years.

She continued to participate in athletics throughout her collegiate career as a member of the University of Georgia Rowing Club, where she was recognized as an All-American and All-Academic athlete. After graduating from UGA in 2020 with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science, she received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2022 from Augusta University. Makenzie has now returned to Athens and is working with Dr. David Katz specializing in hand, wrist, and upper extremity. In her spare time she enjoys volunteer coaching with the UGA rowing club and cheering on her alma mater!
